She has been so far... and yes all the research I have done says 10". These guys are smaller then the istlanum I got from you (fishman). There really aggresive, they had no problem putting that istlanum in its place, really fast. They even keep my little zonatus in check... there going in my 180 with my lyonsi, and hopefully some altifrons in a few months. That is my total ideal stocklist, 4 lyonsi, 4 sieboldii, and ? Altifrons... will be a tank based on the rio coloradito river system... should be pretty sweet. Thanks for the comments.

If any of the fry make it a few weeks, between the isletes, the zonatum, and the istlanum. The fry have been dwindled down to just a few, I would say 8ish. They started out with like 40, but there are to many other fish in the tank for them to protect against. They can keep about 4 or 5 fish away without an issue, but when 10 are coming at them at once, almost working together to try and get some fry, its really tough for the parents to keep them all away. So I have watched a few get eaten and am sure that's what happened to the others as well. I need to get them in my 180 where there's a little more room. But I cant do that untill I get my altifrons and set up my 150. I really want the altifrons to go in the tank with the lyonsi before the sieboldii, since the sieboldii will be the most aggresive fish in the tank, I want them to go a last so everything else has a chance to set up there teritories.

You know I have two that are unpaired, and I think one is male and one is female. You should stop by sometime and take a look, so I can show you why I think they are m/f. Maybe we can work something out for the unpaired two and all the fry that are left. Perhaps a trade or something.... let me see what do you have that I might want???????
