I had this Bolivian Ram for the better part of 2 years. He's grown to nice big size as Ram cichlids go. Got a good shot of him so thought I would share.
I call him the sheriff because he's the one dwarf I have that's always out in the open, wondering around the lower regions of the tank. This ram shares space with dwarf Acara species and a pair of nice sized dwarf Pike Regani. The pike cichlids and Angel fish are robust and can be pushy but the Sheriff holds his ground and will often mediate my pike cichlids simi aggressive behavior against other fish. It's quite an entertaining sight.
