Question - Wabo welding certificate.

Just started to learn how to weld in 2008.
Im sure my level has risen since; just wanted to ask any certified welder here or known:

how would I go about taking the actual test? Need class credits? How much?
I've gone thru the wabo site, but not ine contact has replied.

Re: Question - Wabo welding certificate.

Your local community college can issue the cert. renton voc-tec, green river, or bates, the fees vary. no classes needed, just pay the testing and material fees(at green river for sure). and weld right and you'll be good.

The guys working for me go to Green river for certs. instructors name is Jack Daniels.

By the way nice to meet you last night at the GSAS meeting

Really "Jack Daniels" ?

Anyways, Community Colleges are great!!! They offer the most affordable option for any type of cert/training/associates degree. They are an un-tapped resource many people don't know about.
