Does anyone know if we can take the ulva that you can collect on the NW shores and rince it off real good and throw it in our sums/refugeums or will it not survive...

are they preatty much the same everywhere or ???

While this is something I've never tried my gut instinct would be no, here in the NW the temp of the water rarely reaches above 55 degrees, my guess is it would die fairly quickly.

You could look up something on cold water SW tanks, I know there are those out there keeping these.

Good luck wish I had more insight

I have something like this that I got from Congstonian in my Central American aquarium and it just floats around and grows great. He told me it was sea lettuce and it looks just like Ulva.
