Plants floating on surface

Will plants survive floating on the surface for two days?

Tank sprung a leak, now i have all the fish and plants in a 45 gallon tub. Plants are just floating for now.
I will be picking up a new tank Monday morning. Would like to avoid putting in the substrate and planting
everything just to take it all out and do it again Monday.
Think they will be ok?

Most plants will be okay. Better if you can keep light on them like you had in your tank.

The plants will be fine it takes longer in shipping most the time.

Yes, I've had a Hygro compacta sitting in floating in a guppy breeder box for weeks (don't ask).

The problem comes when fish float on the surface.
