This tank has been set up for about a year now and has gone through many a change. I'm on the lookout for a smallish stump to add and thought I had one but unfortunately received a piece of wood that would take up the entire tank.

Specs:
Tank: ADA Mini-L
Lighting: 36w Archaea light w/ ADA 8000k bulb
Filtration: Eheim 2213 with Cal-Aqua filter pipes
CO2: Red Sea paintball regulator (soon to be replaced by a Victor, dual stage regulator)
Substrate: Aquasoil Amazonia

Plants:

* Utricularia gramnifolia
* Eriocaulon cinereum
* Ludwigia senegalensis
* Mini riccia

Fish:

* 10 Boraras brigittae
* 1 amano shrimp (I think there's still on there)

Anyhow, here's what it looks like now:

Beautiful, congratulations. When did you set up the tank?
Is possible to see some close-up with UG and Erio?

Thanks flo77. I set it up about a year ago but just rescaped to it's current layout about 6 weeks ago. I'll take some closeup pics of the plants when I do some maintenance this weekend.

I also forgot that I currently have Ludwigia arcuata in there currently but, I think it's only temporary. The Ludwigia senegalensis will likely stay, however.

Flo77, I also meant to ask you, as I read that you keep CPDs, if you think CPDs might be at home in my tank? I've been contemplating replacing the B. brigittae for awhile but can't come up with the right combination of a small fish that wouldn't jump out of an open top tank.

Take care of Erio, give it more space! I love it. If you ever decide you have too many count on me.

I don't think they will jump out, I have CPD in open tank. On the net they recommend a slightly alkaline ph, Kh and Gh 4-6, which is not good for Erio. Howevever I have CPD spawned and raising fry in soft and acidic water(ph 6.4-6.8). They really apreciate live food. They will probably hide behind L.senegalensis. I didn't grow UG yet I don't know how it will affect the CPD and eggs if they try to spawn overthere.
I've started with 2 pair in a 10 gal tank and in 3-4 month I had 30 CPD.
Let me know if you want CPD(maybe a trade).

Looks great! That's some tall UG I see... I miss mine, where'd yours come from?

I'm trying to decide between a Mini L with ghetto rigged T5 lighting or a Mini M with an ADA solar for my desk right now lol

Thanks to everyone for the compliments!

Flo77, I may take you up on some CPDs in the future. I would much prefer to purchase them from a breeder than a store so, I'll definitely be in touch if I can make up my mind.

ledieudufromage Definitely give it a try and please post pics here if you do!

Jacko I bought my UG from a member on plantedtank.net, where I tend to spend far too much of my free time. I'd love to have a Mini-M, they're great nano tanks. I think you should buy both! :lol:

DMD123 I'd love to see pics (and I'm sure everyone else would too) of your new setup, let's see it!

if only I had the space and money :p

I've spent way too much time and moolah on the SnS there as well, plants are one of my favorite parts of the hobby... lemme know if you ever decide to thin out the UG, didn't do too well last time I had it shipped from NY (too hot I think)
