On a whim I dropped a couple rabbit pellets into my cherry shrimp tank to see if they'd eat them.
They. Went. NUTS.
It's their new favorite thing in the world. I hate to say it but it even wins out over Gigi's wonder food. I feed Oxbow brand Bunny Basics T to my standard rex, which I consider to be the best quality rabbit food out there. Of course, Bramble is less keen on sharing, especially with shrimp. But I can see how it'd be a good food since it's almost 100% shredded and compressed Timothy hay. The pellets swell up quickly and fall apart but the shrimp fight over the pieces like it's crack.
