Hello planted aquarium fans, I've got some exciting news for you!
The inaugural meeting for the Nature Aquarium Club, Cascadian Chapter, will be held January 14, 2012 from 1:30-4:30PM.
Our guest speaker is Joseph Uy Jr., owner of Miyabi Aqua Design, the official Canadian distributor of Aqua Design Amano products. Joseph will be presenting a live demonstration of Iwagumi aquascaping fundamentals as well as a power point presentation about his recent trip to Japan and the ADA gallery.
We've secured a room at the beautiful Center for Urban Horticulture on the University of Washington campus with views of Mount Rainier and the Union Bay Natural Area along Lake Washington. 24-30 people can fit into the room and I am accepting $10 sliding scale donations.
Please RSVP to Steve Waldron in an e-mail sent to woodydebris@gmail.com. The room has a capacity of 30, so get those RSVP's in fast (and don't flake out).
