I bought 4 big ol' Mystery Snails for my 90 gallon planted tank about 6 weeks ago. A week or so ago I noticed holes and ragged edges on my Java Fern Windelov and in all my Bucephalandra species. Last night I noticed that these plants have almost been defoliated! I have other Java Ferns, various Anubias, swords, etc., in this tank, but it seems only the Buce and Windelov are the tasty ones. I also have pond snails, Nerites and MTS snails in the tank, along with various Rainbows, Danios and Guppies. The only thing I've seen near the affected plants are the Mystery Snails - I thought these were plant safe? Has anyone else experienced this?
