So, my Magnum 350 stopped up after a month. I emailed back and forth with marineland for a while then sent it in. Now 3ish weeks later I contact them again, and get this:
Hello,
"We are very sorry but do not find you in the system under any of the names listed below or this email address. Please supply more information. Please give the return information that was included in with the filters. Please give us your complete name, address, phone number. Also if you have any tracking information that will be helpful.
Sincerely,

US Aquatics Consumer Support"

It wasn't pumping. They said it was missing a tube on the inside that looked like airline, but I have another 350 that is working and I couldn't find it on that one either, so they told me to send it in.

Hmmm, weird. I have had to replace 2 heaters from them, and they have never asked me to send one in.

How did you send the filter ?? (FEDEX, UPS, USPS ??) Do you have any tracking numbers or anything ?? If you do find out where it is and send them the info, if they have it and lost it tell them to send you a new filter.

I sent it USPS, and have the info somewhere and am trying to dig it up this evening.

OH! Sorry I see that THEY lost your MAGNUM!

Only proof you would have is a receipt from USPS (something THEY give you when mailing a package) or a tracking conformation slip.

Without proof, Marineland can just pull a Filibuster on you. Don't give up and keeping contacting them until you get it resolved.

I know "I" lost the receipt...but even if I had it there is no way I could prove that the filter was in the package.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH:

I got a phone call this morning from them and they found my filter. They are sending me a new one! They had it there but didn't have a verified address...which is odd, because the way they found it was by me sending them my address...
