i went to olympia today to get a couch for my sister and they guy just happened to have a fish he wanted to get rid of because it was obviously way too big for his 55 gallon tank hes longer than the tank is deep so i took him home to everett in a cooler and a battery powered air pump for oxygen. sloshing water and all i got home soaked in the water the fish was in and put him in my tankk and now i have a monster of a black pacu ...he really is a trooper to survive a 1 hour ride in a cold cooler inside a bouncy moving truck

Nice save Lux,
Its always nice to see a fish smile again, I saved a pair of Uaru from a Donut Shop in Blaine.. They road in the Rig with me for three hours in a white kitchen trash bag and a cardboard box.. Yeah I know probably sucked for them during this time, However I rehomed them to a guy who had this awesome 125 gallon planted tank.. Well after uaru became comfortable the Plants were not so beautiful anymore, but they were one set of happy ass Uaru and I swear last time I saw them they smiled at me.... ;) :king:

yeah hes huge i opened the cooler coming into tacoma and i thought he had died from shock cuz the guy used freezing cold hose water to fill it. with the combo of that and the bounching truck i thought he was a gonner for sure but when i went to dump the water out of the tank i saw a fin move so i took him home and pushed him around through the tank so he could breath again. but noqw hes swimin around and i cant tell if hes staring at me cuz hes thsnkful of if he just wants to chew on my fingers haha
