Hi from Oregon!

This past weekend I drove the almost 3 hours to attend the aquarium swap meet. I met many people and I was told to locate and join, so here I am!

I'm not actually in Washington, but from the Portland area in Oregon. :lol

Currently I have 4 aquariums set up. All four are planted and only one is mostly stocked, two of the others are quarantine tanks and the fourth one is apparently the problem child. My current fish include, but not all in the same tank, an Angelfish, 3 BN Plecos, Panda Cories, Kuhli Loaches (Pangio oblonga and P. myersi), Ember Tetras, Rummynose Tetras, and Boraras brigittae.

I've been keeping fish since probably around 2000, and only started planted tanks in the last few years.

I will have to show off the tanks later. :)

Welcome!  I'm a fan of panda corys myself. :)
Aren't they fun? I currently have 5 in my 36 gallon bowfront. Will be looking to add to the group in the future, though other tank will be taking priority for increasing my Kuhlis first (I am down to 4 total... 3 black and 1 giant).

Welcome to fishbox escapay! Glad to have more members outside the state of Washington! :)
I'm slowly getting my heart set on breeding Corydoras! <3

Indeed :D I started with 5, lost 2, bought 2 more, and then they started breeding for me. Now I have at least 22 spread across 2 tanks. Baby corys are cute as can be. ;) I don't have any of the original fish anymore and I've been through some ups and downs with them, but I've finally reached a point where the population is stabilizing.

You're very lucky to be in such close proximity to the Wet Spot

I go visit maybe every two weeks. 8) My cories are actually from there. I started with 6 but lost one about a week after putting them into my main tank.

We :welcome!: all...whether Washington or Oregon or wherever. That is awesome that you made the trip up from Oregon to go to the swap. We live in Washington and are 3+ hours away from Seattle but we know its worth the trip to socialize and attend lots of fun fish functions. Missed this last one...hope to make another at some time.

I love kuhlies...just don't think I can have them in my tanks....

I buy corys in groups of 5...I think im at 15 or 20 right now in 2 tanks...neat fish. used to think they were boring when I only had one in a 10 gallon...but that was about 20 yrs ago..
