Meant to post this sooner, but for anyone interested in buying plants or shrimp - the Greater Portland Aquarium Society is having their annual auction of plants (we'll also have shrimp and I'm 95% sure of fish that are safe for planted aquariums) on Sunday, April 26th at 3:00PM.
It will be held at (go to the rear entrance)
East Portland Moose Lodge
16411 NE Halsey St, Portland, Oregon 97230
This is open to the public and is free to attend. You are also welcome to bring in some of your own items for the auction. Make sure that any fish is double-bagged, or if not something you can safely bag - in a suitable alternative watertight container.
