I just did the monthly update of http://calendar.thekrib.com/ , my 1990s-style Web page of aquarium gatherings.  
Setpember has two koi shows, a killifish meeting, the swap meet in Federal Way, several presentations by the man behind http://corydorasworld.com/ , and more.
I hope that someone here might find something useful there.

We also do Plant Swap events at Aquarium Co-Op every third Saturday of the month at the store, from 7pm-8pm in Edmonds.
