Fish think day is binary

My fish think it is either day or night. No dusk or dawn. Just light or dark. Frankly they have no chance at all of unraveling the mysteries of the universe.

ha ha i should find the custom 7 time setup some one had that turned on 6-7 different sets of light to simulate the sun rise and set it was freakin cool im sure those were some happy not cracked out fish

i cant find it but there was a guy on utube that had the fading light system it was very cool and the fish seamed more natural

I have my lights to turn on after an hour after sunrise, this way they get a kinda sunrise thingy goin on... not just solid black and then BAM daylight..... only problem is I cant get it to do the fading light thing.... I will dig thru you tube shua.

Most all of my tanks are near windows so they get the sunrise, but tend to miss the sunset as I usually turn the lights off after its dark out.
