First Time Plants

Sooooo, i am building a new fish room and i am also changing the way i do things. One of those things is designing my own sumps. Each one will have a refugium, (here's where the plants come in lol). I picked up a decent batch from a local hobbyist. I am working on the sump for the 300 first, so i planted several and the remaining are in another tank, awaiting their turn.

What I have done with the poret foam is cut it a couple of inches above the substrate line so that I can remove the upper part for annual rinsing without disturbing the bottom piece holding the substrate back.
