Finnex 24/7 Warning

I didnt notice one of the transformers for my 48 inch light had got pushed off my wood stand. It was laying on the carpet and actually got hot enough to burn the carpet. It was in the 24/7 mode, maybe since its constantly on it will heat up that much? Or maybe just defective?

Thanks for the heads up. I am running three tanks with these lights, will have to check the transformers.

Just wanted to follow up - I did check my three Finnex 24/7 lights, and the transformers on all three were just barely warm to the touch. Not at all hot.
I wonder if you have a defective unit? It is probably worth having it checked for your own safety.
