I got a few of these in a group buy a long time ago.  Only one survived. I ordered a few more in another group buy, but a couple were doa and the others didn't live long, so I gave up trying to add more.

I love the spots and the really cute face.

Thanks all.

MrTom, yes, it's the only survivor, but there wasn't any effort on my part in raising them.  The others didn't live long; some not even through their quarantine period.  A couple were dead in the bag when they arrived.  I'm pretty sure I was the only one that had any fish doa in both of those group buys.  Just my luck!  That's why I don't like to order fish online.

FishNAbowl, those are both Africans from Lake Tanganyika.  The little fish is a cherry spot Tropheus fry.  It's been living dangerously, swimming around in the open, but has managed to survive. Hopefully it'll look like Dad when it's grown up.  :)

The blue spot has such an interesting face. It has a ton of character and looks like it would just start talking at any moment.
