Duckweed Fish Food

I did this today and it was relatively easy. I just scooped out extra duckweed from my tanks, rinsed it good in the sink, drained it in a strainer, mixed a little bit of fish food and then put out in the sun to dry. I probably have enough now to fill a 6 oz container.

Is it to good to be true?

Do I need to lay off of the internet?

I decided to mix 1/2 duckweed with 1/2 flake food just to make sure that the fish are still getting some additional nutrients. Everything is getting eaten like normal and none of the fish seem to be sticking their nose up at it.

I am using it in multiple tanks with a variety of fish. One of the tanks does have several gold fish.
