alright so seeing all this salt water stuff has gotten me thinking... id love to have a goblin shark and other deep ocean fish as well.. perhaps even an anglerfish of sorts. sure would be hard to replicate immense ocean pressure tho... lol

nice pic. that is the emperor cichlid of lake tanganyika. biggest cichlid specie.

Is that the one that gets about 3' long? Hard for me to imagine an african cichlid that big. :shock:

yes. thats the 1. this are rarely see in the hobby due to its size, you will normally see this f1 for sale. imagine that thing in your tank, if you have a big enough tank. lol. very aggresive too.

I read that this fish requires *at least* a 500g tank and is really not suited for anything other than commercial aquariums. Nice to see a good picture of it though, as the article I was reading had a really crappy pic.
