Most likely it is not a Convict. Convicts do not have blue in them nor any yellow. There are so many Convict look cichlids that have come through the hobby, and so many people mislabeling, misidentifying them or just dont care what it is. Hey a blue convict, hey a yellow convict, lets breed all of theses. So the hybrids begin.
You have the nigrofasciatus which is the convict, altoflavus which has been called the yellow convict, HRP which has been called the blue convict, kanna which looks very similar to the convict as well as the siquia and the spilurus. Not to mention the cutteri has also been called a convict.
The pictures below are of a Siquia, looks a lot like yours. Hmmm.........
