I've been considering painting the back of my discus tank black. Just wondering everyone else's opinion. Maybe something different?

I did the (outside) back of my 125 with Black spray "tool dip" If I ever move the tank, I can change it by simply peeling it off. One caution about the finished product tho', it scratches really easy and those marks can be seen from the inside of the tank. It comes in lots of colors and can be "faded" for cool effects...

Black can look awesome, depending on substrate and fish. I believe it would look great with your tank. Love your discus by the way. Always wanted to try them, but never brave enough!

If tool dip is hard to find in your area (probably isn't) you could also use Plasti Dip spray paint. It goes on like traditional spray paint, but also peels off like rubber (kind feels like a latex glove after you've peeled it off).
