Anyone know what this is?

I got a 29 gallon tank full of live rock and dead coral on craigslist. one of the plugs seemed to have something alive on it, so i saved it. Does anyone know what this is? Pictures from a few weeks ago up to today. What does it eat, etc?

looks like a type of coral polyp... Not an expert but I doubt it is an apisto

Just a stray polyp, in a few years you can have a 8x6 colony like I have. These will get their food from the sun.

Hey Zerc,
They are right. It is a polyp. Palythoa. And your lighting is fine for it. I should color up for you and maybe be a really cool color. Keep us posted on what it does.
