Grabbed a couple pics of my male chanco today.... he is about 4-5 years old and came from the legendary Mel Omarra ( guapotemel on YouTube) via Madness when he went up and collected fry off his pair .... he is probably one of my favorite fish that I currently own and one of the only ones with a name, “Gill”.

Love his pattern/color! So many Chanco Ive seen are so bland and gray, yours is sporting some nice color and stripes.

Absolutely... but it will need to happen in a large tank as he’s extremely aggressive
