Hello, I have an African tiger fish that I have owned for about 1 1/2 years. I have successfully pellet trained him so he does not eat live food which is very nice. To pellet train him I had to use a dither fish as a teacher fish until he was able to copy the fish and learn to eat pellets.
About 8 months ago he suffered an eye injury so I had to separate him from the big tank. He still eats just fine and the eye fully healed but I'm not happy with him being in a smaller aquarium and I don't have the room for another bigger setup anymore since I had to separate him. I fear his quality of life is not great because his health seems to be declining he's getting skinnier and I just would like to give him up to somebody else who can give him a better quality of life and keep him healthy. I am picky of who I give him to because I care for the well-being of this fish so please let me know if you're interested so we can talk about it thank you.
