55 Hex suggestions

Got my little sister a 55 hex for a (early) Christmas present. We shared ~350 gallons of fish in college, but she has not had a chance to get a tank since she got married/kids. She is leaning towards discus, but I was hoping to make an argument for some an african colony if a hex tank is suitable. it is about 2 feet in diameter and 3 feet tall.

I love tall tanks but it is a challenge to find the right fish to fit them. For the hex I would consider some angels, tetras, bristlenose pleco. Basically a community tank.... I know boring! :tongue:

I know you want Africans but the tall tank just seems better for other types of fish.

+1 to madness, discus are great for tall tanks, the prefer them.
