    butterkofferi tilapia?

"300+" is a little of an over statement, but you get the idea. in the 175 bow all he could do was swim like 4 of his body lengths then turn around and go back.... and so on. They are one of the most aggressive fish i have seen, so any tank you stick him in, will essentialy be "HIS".

    Peacock Bass!

    P. Bass can be tricky. If you start them small and have them in with other non aggressive small fish around their size, they can pick up on pellets. My old temensis did. If hes large you might want to try a powerhead and some frozen krill or something of the sort. Put the krill in so the pump...

    Caquetaia Myersi

I use to have one that grew too around 10" while i had him. Sweeet fish. I personally like them because they are like the south american counterpart to a datnoid. compressed body, huge mouth, kinda triangle shaped... haha

    butterkofferi tilapia?

I had a Buttekoferi come into my parents fish store and it was a solid 15". it was impressive, but means as hell, and made the 175 bowfront it was in looks tiny. I would say unless you have a 300+ gallon tank you want to call "HIS" i wouldnt suggest getting him.

TO BE or NOT TO BE(pleco grow out/breeding tank)

it wouldnt be a growout but... i Got the beastiest regular male bristlenose pleco! Hes been in the family a a while. even for breeding a 20G is kinda small. you gotta supplement with lots of foods. while breeding the parents and the fry both chowed on some canned green beans(uncooked-unsalted)...

plans for a 1000 gallon concrete pond in my back yard

Red tail cats come from warm places... i highly doubt it could survive in that cold of water. I have seen a person with a 28" turushukin in a 900 gallon pond and he was sitting around 60... but 40-50, thats just is cold.

    Octopus?

I at one time was researching keeping dwarf cuttle fish. Sepia Bandensis should only reach about 6 inches. you have got to be a seriously dedicated aquarist to keep/ breed these animals. Breeding them could justify keeping them, if you can raise to adulthood, then spawn, raise... repeat. you get...
