This stuff has been sitting for a while. Not looking to make any money, more so maybe just pay it forward to someone looking to expand their fish-room or something.
*75gal glass aqueon purchased at Petsmart. May have a leaky bottom corner, nothing that can't be fixed with a little silicone...
Where did you buy a glass 180 gallon for 300$ two weeks ago?
Are they previously used? If so do you know their approximate age? Do you have lids for them? Manufacturer would help as well.
Good input, thanks. The 260 this stuff is going in is acrylic so no magnets (I use the squeegee/brush like at gas stations) and the bottom's already pretty trashed. Nothing a good buff wouldn't fix but I'm not overly concerned about panes I can't see. Thanks again
Anybody local used it? Lots of info/debate online. The ferrous metals and some other stuff on the MSDS are a little scary but there are plenty of guys out there using it without (verifiable) ill effects and it looks great. The price tag looks especially good - 50lbs = 8 bucks).
Probably gonna...
Thanks for the input everyone. Almost done adding a couple 4x10 beams on post jacks to split the distance between existing ones and blocking the joists to prevent them rolling any. It does suck dragging sh* around under the house but but it'll be worth it once I get water in the 260 I picked up
I also posted this on MFK but thought it might not hurt to throw it up here too..
Is it necessary to add floor support? Thoughts and opinions welcomed/appreciated.
Due to the layout of the house the only place it makes sense to put tanks described below. Beams are 7' apart (3-1/2" x 9-1/4"...
Thanks again. Looking forward to the journey. Building tank stands, sumps, etc. Also, figuring out if my floor can support a few hundred gallons of water in one spot lol ..Anyone know a good structural engineer in the Tacoma area?
Hi everyone!
I haven't kept fish in nearly 16 years due to career stuff (moving) but am working towards getting back into it. My last setup was two 125's and a 210 with a small handful of ornery CA/SA Cichlids. I've decided to try the marine FOWLR route this time and with larger tanks...
Hi Jared! I think I sent you a PM (not certain - the interface on here is a little different than the other forums I read). Anyway, I definitely sent you a message or posted on your wall or something lol
