    Looking for stocking suggestions

Thank you Roy! It is a nice tank, it's been a shame that I've neglected it so much. I briefly tried to sell it but when that didn't work, I started to get a renewed interest in getting it back into shape. Your opinion and several others have convinced me that angels are probably not a good...

    Looking for stocking suggestions

I lost interest in the hobby for awhile and didn't bother putting anything new in my tank for a very long time. There's so little in it now and I'm getting the urge to add something new again and need some help deciding which fish to add. 105 gallon, current inhabitants - 5 zebra loaches, 1...

    7.5g Cube Journal

Looks sweet! I bought the 10" cube from Jimmy last weekend. I didn't walk in there intending to buy one but, how can your argue with cheap, rimless cubes?!?! Definitely keep us updated with your progress!

    Planted ADA Mini-L (8.8 gallons)

Thanks to everyone for the compliments! Flo77, I may take you up on some CPDs in the future. I would much prefer to purchase them from a breeder than a store so, I'll definitely be in touch if I can make up my mind. ledieudufromage Definitely give it a try and please post pics here if you do...

    Planted ADA Mini-L (8.8 gallons)

Flo77, I also meant to ask you, as I read that you keep CPDs, if you think CPDs might be at home in my tank? I've been contemplating replacing the B. brigittae for awhile but can't come up with the right combination of a small fish that wouldn't jump out of an open top tank.

    Planted ADA Mini-L (8.8 gallons)

Thanks flo77. I set it up about a year ago but just rescaped to it's current layout about 6 weeks ago. I'll take some closeup pics of the plants when I do some maintenance this weekend. I also forgot that I currently have Ludwigia arcuata in there currently but, I think it's only temporary...

    Planted ADA Mini-L (8.8 gallons)

This tank has been set up for about a year now and has gone through many a change. I'm on the lookout for a smallish stump to add and thought I had one but unfortunately received a piece of wood that would take up the entire tank. Specs: Tank: ADA Mini-L Lighting: 36w Archaea light w/ ADA...

Which Canister Filter Are You Using?

I've used Fluvals, Marineland, Renas and Eheims and I love my Eheims. The Marinelands are probably a close second but I'd definitely go with Eheim classics over just about anything. For your setup, I would go with the 2215.

    Thread reply e-mails

Thanks for checking! I'll probably just deal with the replies. Half the time I can't remember what threads I wanted to check back on. :)

    Thread reply e-mails

Actually, I do want to get the replies, I just wondered if there was any way to preview the message within the replies. On several other forums I belong to, you see at least a part of the reply in the notification. Like I said, no worries if it can't be done, I just thought I'd ask.

    Thread reply e-mails

Just out of curiosity, is there any way to enable some part of the reply content, when e-mails are sent notifying you of a reply to subscribed threads? When I get the e-mail, knowing whether someone replied with a question/useful comment as opposed to a reply that simply says "LOL" would...

    what store??

I'd agree with the sweetaquatics.com suggestion, if you're willing to purchase online. Their prices/quality are amazing. I used to buy a lot of plants at Denny's in Kirkland. They seem to carry more than any other local store, though that isn't saying much.

    Pseudomugil gertrudae

I've been to GSAS meetings when they had them for auction but either my tank wasn't ready for them or there were more than I could possibly cram into a tank. Either way, thanks for the pricing info. I'm thinking I'll pick some of these up in the next week or two.
