Jamestosa, you will love tropheus, they are a bit of a difficult fish when feeding, and aggression... but if you keep em happy and well fed they are such a gorgeous fish...... just watch for that bloat, it sneaks up on you like a ninja!

Thanks Sandman, got a few tropheus from goblue and I'm hooked, I need more. Wife would not let me put another tank in the house so I had to make room for it. What is the best Metro? Where is the good place to get it?

I just kept a bunch of metro on hand in case... Dont think it matters what brand?? to be honest, when you start to see bloat, its almost too late... the metro saved a few of mine, but bloat is such a freaking quick killer.... honestly, thats really what makes me love the tropheus, more challenge..... Diet is really important too, not overfeeding, and feeding the right stuff.....

I got metro online, god, its been a long time..... umm.... think ebay.... i will research a little and see if I can find the brand I used and where I got it from...

I got hikari metro + .... like 2.2lbs of it.... think it was like 40 or 50 bucks...... good stuff, I do remember one time i noticed one of my fish seperating from the group, not eating, and I dosed immediatly.... it got better.... didnt loose one fish! but you seriously have to catch it early.... or BAM! whole colony toast!

I also used seachem - metronidazole ... but it was really expensive, and I didnt see much difference between metro+ and it... up to you man.
