I could think of something better than 6 fish in a empty 300 gallon tank but like sandnuka said Good job!

There will be more stock in the 300 once my wallet allows.. Lol. Right now the rays are my main priority. I've tried several other kinds of fish but they just don't do it for me, I just keep going back to rays. Plus they're the only fish my wife like.. She hated all the other fish i've kept..
It sucks there's Not many ray people in Washington anymore.. :(

Why buy rays when I can spend hundreds of dollars on rare livebearers. Yes, I realize rays are livebearers :p

Like the henlies but love the Leo. when the stinger drops, be sure to fish the tube out of the tank. :)
I will somewhat emulate the fishes you have in my Ray tank.

Well I've never owned one, but I love the rays. They are so graceful to watch and awesome looking.

Cool pleco too.

Thanks.. I'm not going to change much. Just add a couple mid to upper water swimmers. The rays are so peaceful to watch I don't want to mess that up with aggressive fish.. This time I'll just stick to the rays I have and not load my tank like before. My food bill almost ran me to the poor house with feeding 1-2 pounds of fish fillets, and shrimp a day, and the 2x 60% water changes a week.

That's a pretty bad a$$ tank, love that aro too..
I'm looking for gars, Dats, or maybe a Leichardti.. No flagtail for me, they like to suck the slime coat off the rays.. :(

I love those rays and yeah I do agree on adding a aro. It would set off the tank nicely. Have you seen aquarist tank with rays and aro? Its beautiful

some odd reason I keep forgetting that the Flagtails do that! I had a nice 8-9" Balal shark and he did a greatjob breaking the Rays' left over. but I killed it by doing a massive WC, I have been informed they are very sensitive to temperature changes, otherwise Bala sharks were great.

Bet you are missing your black aro by now, :)

Leicharti is hard to find. If ever I come across one, I'll let you know. There's 2 mfk'er that have them, and if I am correct one is looking to get rid of his (hearse), so if you inquire on mfk, you might get a response.

My understanding is flagtails suck slime because of not having enough vegetable matter in their diet. And once they start its something that many times cant break them of. Hope mine does not resort to that.
