new guy in bothell!

Hey everyone,

I guess a little info about me is in order!

I'm a 27 year old dental lab tech, and I have 2 aquariums, both freshwater.

I have my 50ish gallon community tank which currently has:
5 albino corys
9 ghost shrimp
2 bolivian rams
1 neon blue dwarf gourami
5 harlequin rasboras
5 zebra danios
6 neon tetras
and 3 black mollies

I also have a 20 gallon tank, and it has a bunch of christmas moss and water in it... It's about 3/4's of the way cycled, so hopefully I'll be stocking it with a mated pair of german blues (if i can get my hands on one), and a few kuhli loaches.

Both of my tanks are heavily planted with all sorts of great stuff from sweet aquatics (based in ohio).

Anyways, I just thought I'd introduce myself here, saw the ad on craigslist.

I'm fairly new to the hobby, just have kept one tank for few months, but looking to breed dwarf cichlids in the very near future (my bolivian rams started their courting rituals about 48 hours ago) for fun and profit.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll be around begging answers to many questions.

Hey Liam! Dwarf cichlids are a blast to breed...you'll be amazed when you see that first batch of fry in the mother's mouth!! Good to have you here, and nice collection so far :cheers:
