Right now I have 3 set up 100g 2 75g, a 55g sitting, 2 20T sitting, a 29T sitting, a few 10g sitting. I am planning on getting another 75g today and hopefully a 125 soon.. Just have to figure out where to put them. I need a bigger house!!! Or I will have to take all my furniture out of my living room cause my dining room is full with just 3 tanks :/

as many as your spouse will let you get away with and you can keep heated & fed. Then again I used to tell people that my wife said I can only have 3, so I got 4.

I started out with 1 nano tank at the beginning of this year and am now up to unlucky number 13.

Well, that depends on a lot of things, but I think a good rule of thumb is that if taking care of them has become a chore, you have too many tanks. I had 30+ tanks years ago when I was keeping both Tanganyikans and Malawians, but now that I keep mostly Tropheus, I have 12 tanks in my fish room (55, 75, and 100 gallons) plus one show tank in my living room. That's just right for me.

I'm sitting with 22 tanks running ranging from 55 to 5 gallon. And 8 tanks sitting in the garage not running. Once you get to the point you can't properly tend to them, then it's time to either cut back on tanks or create a better running set up... like auto water changes and what not.

I am thinking about taking a wall down or moving it back 3ft in the living room. I would kill for a big house with a nice basement or large room to put my tanks. My problem is I like to see my fish and I feel they are more interactive with me seeing me all the time. I have a 75g I need to get up and running plus i am supposed to be getting a 125.. i just have no idea where i am going to put it. If i put it in the front bedroom I would have to put it in the window and figure out how to get the stand in the room :/ I might be able to stand it up on its side i just have to measure the doorway lol That is why i wanna knock down the wall. And i just redid the carpet in the living room so adding 3 ft to it means I have to get more carpet lol AHhhh what to do what to doo.. Why did i agree to buy this house!!!

Put it in the garage and spend time in there. I had to do that with my big tanks because I'm pretty sure my floors can't handle the weight.
