Hello Everyone,

I met a member from trophs.com today for a sale and he mentioned this website. I kept all types of cichlids from Oscars to Tropheus. I had many tanks, but due to being in the military, I only keep one tank now and its my 155g bowfront. The two species that I keep are Cherry Spots and Golden Kazumba's.
My favorite type of cichlids are tangs for many reasons mostly personality and color.
Just wanted to say hi to all fellow WA fish keepers.

Hello Rick,

Im stationed at Whidbey Island. My first platform was EA-6B's and for the last 3 yrs I been in P-3C's. Im about to rotate to shore duty, so im excited that I wont be going to the desert any time soon. 7 yrs in the US Navy and all i been to is the mid-east. My shore duty will be I level maintenance. Im not familiar with IRM is that a depot type of maint? Im a jet engine mechanic, before the Navy I worked automotive maintenance. I enjoy working with my hands as you would have to being a mechanic.

Gryphon, I'm about to report to AIMD or now known as FRC in Nov. Im in a squadron at the momment and have been on sea for 5yrs. My first tour was at VAQ-129 which is still O-level maintenance.
Were you in the Navy? What did you do at NASWI?

I was an I-level AT over at AIMD during my time up there. SEAOPDET attached to VAQ-139 and the USS Ronald Reagan, went out on her maiden deployment to the Gulf.

Sadly I am out now and down in Seattle.

Parts of it I do, parts I don't.

I got screwed over in some ways when I got out. My baseline audio records from boot camp mysteriously vanished when it was time to get out. (I have some hearing loss thanks to those damned prowler engines but can't prove it) I had tore ligaments in my left ankle while in A-school in Pensacola, and fought for 2 years to get them to treat it as more than just a sprain. Finally had the orthopedic surgeon at Whidbey do MRIs, but because I was getting out on admin sep (weight/PRT fails because I couldn't run) they just brushed it off and sent me on my way.

I do miss the brotherhood aspect of the Navy, getting to see places in the world I wouldn't have gotten to see otherwise (Brisbane Australia, Singapore, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong)
