Looked this morning and dad is patrolling the perimeter, while mom keeps the house clean. Dad is really getting protective. When I come up to the tank he is immediately right there and barring up even more. And the eggs look to be fertilized, I see little black dots in them.

These are WC Peruvian, what was the last ones you had before this? F1's?
These two seem like they may match up better than the last ones you had, just seem mellower.

The male was f1, the female was who knows what. This male is far more mellow. So far. He is very good to her and they have been together for about 5 months with no issues. They are doing a great job at the moment.

Yeah it seem like the last couple had issues with each other a lot more. The video of these two seem like they are going to do very well together.

I really like the look of the Ecuadorian female, you had shown me. She was a stunner. When you see a female Festae in full breeding dress it rivals many saltwater fish.
