Dang madness that festae is lookin goood!

I use sand from lowes its pure cillica sand and ut was like 5 bucks for 100lb bag. Its all white sand so I added black aquarium sand to it and it looks great.

I think you have a female on ur hands. Ive ownd plenty of jacks. The spengals on her cheek area make me think is female. Find her a mate and her colors will change. Check out midway sometime I just traded in a pair of jacks and they look amazing when breeding.

So last night I came home from fishing just to find out that my canister filter was leeking water everywhere. Tried to fix it with a little super glue and then the whole valve assembly crapped out on me. In serious need of a canister filter big enough for my 100 gal tank. These fish are adults...

Yea I made her a small rock cave she is hiding in right now but they seem to be doing the breeding dance lateley so I took out the devider I had in there and he does ok for a few and then he turns evil against her

So I got this pair of true trimacs from madness a while back and she is healing up great but it seems like the male just wants to kill the female. He is relentless with picking on her. Just curious to see if this is normal, breeding rituals,  or just straight hatrid? Any answers would be...
