Bought my son a 180g acrylic tank for his yellow jardini to grow out in…. He is ecstatic and we plan to travel up to Buckley today to get some substrate for it..:::
Not sure if I’m up or down when considering my son has started up in the hobby.
I have 220, 180, 75x2, 50g classroom, 32 flex classroom
Son 60g hex, 2x 20g
So total I have 9 ( 4 at home 2 at work) son 3 at home
If you end up breeding, I’d love to buy some culls for my peacock bass. He’s a true hunter, but still refusing pellets and I won’t don’t goldfish since they are kept in less than desirable conditions. Plus frozen krill can get a bit expensive , haha
My son and I ran up Sunday too….

The first 20g he has a very small wild caught Colombian Oscar with some of the coolest markings on the tail I’ve ever seen. He also has a...
My son has 3 to 4 of these catfish… super cool when they are out, but given a cave or a structure to hide in, they do acts like typical catfish and hunker down….but give them some frozen bloodworms and they go crazy
I had a school of botia Dario about 15 years ago from the wetspot. They are great fish. Took care of pest snails and loved algae wafers.. they were a bit spastic and I remember them freaking out my baby bala sharks to the point that I relocated the sharks and kept the loaches with some Congo...
We met at dennys petworld and honestly, I haven’t been there in close to 15 years and was a bit disappointed in the fish room….. tanks had debris floating around in them ( not clean) and it just felt like the one worker was struggling to help the number of customers in the section.
I will say...
