FS Some for sale, some free

I'm going to part ways with my 125 acrylic, with stand, sump, lights and several accessories. Would like to off load it as is, it's soft water biotope. The person picking up will probably need 6-8 buckets for the sand. This tank is lightly stocked(for it's size), highly planted and would go back...

    John's future/current build projects

I haven't updated this in quite a while, the fish room is doubling as a recording studio lately and it's a pretty peaceful spot. This is a shot from a camera angle check not long ago. The only oddball one off left is the 29 gallon all in one tank with the 3d background and mini sump built in...

Motivation for me. I have 3 of 7 woofers in my Tahoe (component Bose factory stuff) with issues but I have been dragging it out because I don't want to take apart every pillar and panel in the truck lol. Nice work!

Plumbing help - Silicone or Epoxy to fix

That's a nice looking unit, I've thought about plumbing one in with my sump but haven't had any of the issues that required the one I used to use. Please do update on it's performance in a free months.

    Other Hobbies?

Man the pressure is heavy in my normal crab spot this summer. We do so well there that we waited a bit to go out this summer, still limited out but I'm pretty sure people literally dropped pots on my buoy lines, I could feel the snags on one I pulled up. Less than a boat width between some of...

Besides fish, what else do you keep?

Of course it does. It's either a pet, or livestock, until you eat it. Then it's dinner. Either way you have to keep it alive so you're a keeper of oysters and clams for sure.

What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Man you jumped too quick on a folding top, I totally think the way you keep your fish room you would love a sliding top and likely have the skills to make one for $7 with the parts list I have. They're way more convenient for daily and easier to lift off and clean than those "hinges" and silky...

    Your vehicles

To even them out, find your favorite roundabout (traffic circle) and hit it at about midnight with no traffic. I had an evening blowing off steam a few bikes ago and wore one rear tire down to a funnel in about 15 laps around in light rain. Flat track experience and a low seat height recommended...

Fish Room History, Tour, and Upgrade 2021-present

Glad to hear another believer of the fast fill system. It's a real life changer, especially when life gets busy.

Man I have the tank for him but it's aqua scaped for nano fish. Hope someone snatches him up for you quickly, very nice looking fish.

What did you do with your tank(s) today?

It's the aquarist version of the tur-duck-en

What did you do with your tank(s) today?

It probably is, keeping eggs around in my tank is a big part of the challenge with egg scattering fish, I've seen plenty of making but the eggs are always consumed by someone before I can try to find enough to protect.

What did you do with your tank(s) today?

I haven't been able to successfully raise up any tetra fry, if you do I know a guy that would buy 30-50 from you... You mention aggressiveness, what size tank did you put then in and how many?

    Got Hose?

I have swapped that gate valve from the original build with a ball valve, mine doesn't have a bleeder though. I actually leave the hose full but depressurized under the sink with another ball valve on the end of the hose. I use the ball valve at the end of the hose as the primary on/off control...

    Got Hose?

At 75' that is a lot of hose to coil indeed. I don't know if you were using 5/8" or 1/2" when you tried the rv hose, I use 1/2" for easier storage but mines only 50' long. I roll mine over/under and it sits in a Tupperware tub I put under "my half" of the guest bathroom sink, always connected to...
