I feed my cichlids dried seaweed all the time, I was walking around the waterfront the other day and I saw some fresh green seaweed. I was wondering if it would be safe to feed these to my cichlids.

My first attempt wet dry filter FAILED Well this is my wet dry filter first attempt. Took me 2 days to make and 3 seconds to break. I accidentally dropped the drip tray and the bottom broke. Thought i share my failure lol. I'll give it another try with a 20 gallon tank next. all comments...

I was in the market for new substrates for my tank and a 30lb bag of Aragonite is on sale for 15 George at Petsmart. Anybody have any experience with this or should I just go with crush coral, this is for pH purpose of course. This is the exact same product...

glad your fish made it! My power went out also, i only have one tank and do not want to replace the fish! luckily my work place had power so so i put them in a 5 gallon bucket and brought them down there phewww!

I was wondering what is your biggest fear of running a fish tank. Beside the fish dying, lets say the power goes out, or the tank crack, or the tank leaks. Well, mine is the canister filter leak and dripping all 60 gallon on my floor, and maybe even getting shocked. lol
