I wouldn't want to see danios in a tank that small, simply because they like the company of their own kind, and are very active swimmers. Perhaps a betta, if the tank has a heater? Or look into cherry snrimp and apple snails. Not fish, but they could do well in a tank that size.

Hmm, my hardness is in the 3 to 6 range with a pH of 7.2- do you think they'd do ok in that? I'm going out to mom's tomorrow to pick up some of my old equipment- hopefully it works still- maybe I'll be able to come get some in a little while?
