Plant & Fish Auction; Saturday Nov 12th, 2022; Greater Seattle Aquarium Society

Exactly why I chose not to go, I was disappointed when I saw this. We should be past requiring proof of vaccination at this point.

What did you do with your tank(s) today?

Yeah those green umbees have been a real "unicorn" fish for a long time. So cool that he is bringing them back! If I was in to umbees at all I would be jumping all over it.

    Amphilophus Group

@Madness And by the way - Ken said that the father of these fish was wild and the mother was F2. If that helps you in your lineage search....

    Amphilophus Group

This picture might show up a little more clear. I'm going to be sad to see her go. I grew them out from about .75 inches and there was a group of 20 of them. From very early on, she was the bad ass and ran the show. As the group thinned down to this pair and as the male outgrew her, of course...

    Searching for the perfect Trimac

The Niltepecs are my favorite trimac that is available these days. The bright olive greens going into an almost yellow. I just love them. And that first picture you showed (Richard Stratman's fish) is an absolute stunner too.

What did you do with your fish tanks today? Pics appreciated!

Regarding those Poly lids. I have been slowly switching my lids over to them as needed. I tried hinges on my first couple and found that I didn't like them - I prefer being able to just remove the front section during tank maintenance. I have also found that rather than knobs, just drilling a 1"...

Overall Experience 5 Cost 4 Quality of Fish 5 Variety 5 Service 5 I have been in to the Co-Op before, but today was the first time I really got to experience it. I got there shortly after it opened and it was busy for mid day on a Monday. I explained to Cory that I've tried several times...

WTB/WTT: Top and light for 55g , MU/PU Auburn Area

I just sent him a text. He said life has been hectic. He will probably check in soon :) Also, I'm going to be seeing him in the next week or so. If he wants any of the offers coming from the north end, I'd be happy to grab them and deliver when I head down.

WTB/WTT: Top and light for 55g , MU/PU Auburn Area

I have some greenhouse roofing that I would be more than happy to donate for the lids. You would just need to cut to final dimensions. I have this on two of my tanks currently and I like it so much, I'm probably going to switch all my tanks to it at some point...

Maybe I missed it here, or on the facebook discussion so forgive me if this has already been answered - was the water test done with cold or hot water from your tap?
