Looking to buy a purple tang anybody has one or have a good deal or know a good deal let me know!

Define good deal? Saltwater city had about 3 of them the last time I was in there, but he wanted 200 a piece, I told him if he'd say'd 100 a piece I'd buy one, he said no way, so I dunno what a good deal is on one these days.

I can't even get one wholesale at 100 each. QT aquarium in chi-town has em for 140 each, lowest I have seen in a lfs.

Good deal as in 100 area. Petco are 100 plus shipping but i hate buying fish from petco. I've been to QT a couple times they have great pricing but its a gamble on their live stock. I'll keep my fingers cross lol

I don't know what a good deal is any more, I just knew that I had paid 100 for the one I had a few years ago and couldn't beleive he wanted 200 at Saltwater City. Red sea fish, tough to find and usually expensive I do beleive

I will keep an eye out for one on some of the other forums I frequent. I know of one that was for sale a while back, but believe it was sold. I have one that is 5+". Hes pretty cool. I got him for only $80 on another forums classifieds.

Thanks lilfishie it'll be nice to get one for that price. I don't mind paying more or less just as long as it's healthy.

Just wait for a purple tang on www.reeffrontier.com and don't even lowball him...someone else will grab him with the right price.

Still if you want one now, QT is your best shot, last time I saw they have like 2-3 on hand. I've seen one at APFP, but not for sale. (I assume if you offer 200, they may jump on it)
