Triops cancriformis, or horseshoe shrimp, are one of the most common and thus, next to T. longicaudatus, the most greatly known and studied species.

It is possible. Probably just need a special order. No sponders chimed in yet?

I just raised a triops (I assume T. longicaudatus) from a online packet from amazon. It's easy enough... I had two hatch from maybe eight eggs. I think the first one ate the second. They are very high energy love to dig. Not a great choice for newly planted nano tank. I found out the hard way.

I've seen them on aquabid & ebay. I'm sure a LFS could order them for you. Did you decide to try them out?

i have, they are boring, don't get them, all they do is cannibalize each other
