I never thought about the hot water tank,,, How about the instahots--- no tank to foul.

An insta hot or one of those always hot water jobbies that hangs on the wall in place of the tank, are completely different. You dont have your 100+ degree water sitting in a steal container with copper fittings.

I lived in an older place that had galvanized pipe in it that was starting to breakdown. Thankfully it was during the phase in my life where I did not keep fish. I would not even drink from the tap because of the rust that would come through at times. Did not live there long, was one of those first time bachelor pads.
