So tell me... why are moonlights BLUE?

I never understood that... I mean... it's more of a dim white, if anything.

Now if companies would go outside on a full moon night and realize it's not blue...

I mean, it's not like BLUE lights make it easier to see your fish at night anyway. So, having dimmed white lights should have the same effect, right? Or...?

I dont have moonlights but I use a white light that act as my dusk/dawn lighting before my main lights kick on/off. A blue light is cool looking but the dim white that I have been using seems to be just fine. The fish are not shocked awake in the morning and they know its time to settle down at night. I have thought about adding a third timer and blue lights but just have not found what Im looking for yet in lights.

They're actually blue because that is the color that penetrates water in the ocean, being that there are a lot of moonlight feeding only organisms in saltwater they were designed for that.
