Okay so a certain pet store had these guys in, and I had read a lot about how great of nano fish they are. They have special diets but I am used to that with my puffer guy. Anywho, I picked up two because they were severely under priced. Well the instant I put them in the tank they teamed up and took down a shrimp. I read they may eat the shrimplets, but I did not expect them to take down a nearly full grown RCS. Cool fish, but moving my shrimp ASAP.

Reading up on them I expected them to be bigger! I was thinking the size of a male betta but I see that they are smaller. What I saw said about 2cm for a male. Very colorful little fish, looking forward to some follow ups on how they do (and of course pics!).

If i can get them to sit still long enough I will get a pic up lol. They are too busy exploring right now. And they haven't colored back up fully yet. The ride over the pass is rough on poor fishies.

Them together in the corner.

The less colorful guy.

The really colorful guy.

They are very camera shy.. it took ages to get relatively clear pics of them lol. And also I apparently need to clean the outside of the tank.. didnt realize it had so many water marks!

Bah! I missed a shrimp! Poor guy. These scarlet badis are really brutal little fish. Serious power for such tin guys.
