Because they only grow to the size of their tank!

I mean the rays are not that big at the moment, but thats still a lousy footprint. Looks to only be 18” wide and a tall type tank. Would have been better to at least have a standard 180 gallon with the 24” width or a 240 gallon with the 24” width and 8 foot length. Granted still not enough to house long term or to full grown but better choices.
