LED tube comparison - Budget lighting attempt #1

I am taunting myself to get the 24-36" reef model for my 36" tank. This way it will have the ends in a little shadow which seems to be friendly with some fish. But for half the cost I can get the 36-48 double bright and it will probably work just as well. Too many decisions & I am not rich enough to try them all.

Do you have T5HO on any of your tanks? If you like that brightness level, then I suspect you'd like the reef model. I'm not sure that the DoubleBright unit would be sufficient for a high-tech planted tank.

I had a nice dual T8 but it died. I may just try to find a new ballast for it, but still want the classy lower power LED look.
