If you were going to buy a new light......

For me -- I would get Finnex StingRays (because I don't need special lights for plants). But I suspect you will be doing plants?

I'm a Stingray believer, now that I've tried one out on our barb tank. The colors have never looked better in these fish. We run Finnex Planted Plus 24/7s on just about all our other tanks and it's nice having the customization capabilities (along with the blue night lights). But, like Betty said, if you're not doing a bunch of plants, it's hard to beat the value of the Stingray.

i like the old finnex planted+ for plants and stingray for fish only tanks. if you are on a budget, I like beamswork led lights since they are cheaper.

Just remember too much light isn't good, you have to find a balance between nutrients, plant biomass and light
