I was wondering if a hot water heater could be used to heat a tank. I've seen some people use it in a drip system, but you do risk having more minerals/metals being released into the water, and a drip isn't really going to add much heat if the line has to travel far.
But this guy did something different:
I wonder how efficient it is. Interesting idea running the water through tubes to heat the aquarium water rather than directly using the hot water.
Anyone out there try something like this before?
